We the Subscribers belonging to the Dobbs Regiment of Militia Do
acknowledge that we have Severally Voluntarily inlisted into the
Service of our Country to Serve in the state of So. Carolina for the
Space of Three Months after Passing the Limits of the State Agreeable
to the late Aud. Bill, and that we have received from the Colonel of
the said Regiment the Bounty of Three Hudnred dollars each

danger that threaten it from the invasion of the enemy Do each man
for himself promise upon the Sacred Ties of Honor, Virtue & Loove
or our Country to enter into the Service of the same as Militia
Volunteers this day & continue in the same for the sace of Three
Months if required of the situation of our ublic affairs demand it
& promise to demean ourselves therein as good Soldiers. Witness
our hands this 14th day of February, 1781
