1. Joseph more than likely was the father of Isaac who was
born in 1744. Joseph owned Barr's Folly and Isaac Jr in his
will left that land by name. This is the only line with
circumstantial evidence. Joseph also appears to have had a
son Burwell. 2.Who was the Joseph Jr on the 1769 Tax List? Was this his son and the one on the 1800 Census 3. There are at least three Joseph's in here a. son of Abraham b. Joseph Jr who may have been closer to the Trent, c. son of Moses 4. May have still been alive in 1780 in the same district as Isaac with a large value and there was another one closer to Deep Run. Was the 2nd one the same one on Joshua's Creek which was well east of there? 5. 1800 Census the old Joseph was probable the 3rd generation and there was a younger one 6. Joseph, son of Moses Flatt Swamp 7. son of Abraham Edward Frost, John Irons, Richard Caswell, William Herritage (Caswell's father in law), Robert Taylor in 1757, his father, Abraham probably his brother, Francis Yealding, Moses and Joseph Tilghman, Thomas Box, Joseph Mason.
