JEFFERSON COUNTY
 
Kilpatrick/Mosley/Murphy: William B. Kilpatrick of Lenoir County moved to Jefferson County, Florida around l840 and died there about l843, leaving two children: Sarah Frances (bc l834) and W. D. (bc l839). The children lived with Wm. Palmer Moseley (their half Uncle) of Madison Co., Florida after their father's death. (Wm. P. Moseley had moved from Lenoir County ca l840. Both of the Kilpatrick children died in l868. Neither married.
 
Another of Wm P. Moseley's sisters, Elizabeth was married to James R. or M Kilpatrick of Lenoir Co who died there in l834. She also moved to Florida ca l840 with her two children, Martha (bc l830) and James M. (bc l833). Around l844, Elizabeth Moseley Kilpatrick married Wm Spencer Murphy, her deceased sister Julia's husband who was also a former Lenoir Co. resident. Elizabeth's son James M. Kilpatrick, died in Florida. He had a daughter, Laura and three sons, Richard F., James M. and William F. - no further information.
 
James R. or M. (I think this was M - MM) - d l834 in Lenoir Co married Elizabeth Moseley - bc l8l0 in Lenoir Co - d l873 - 74 Jefferson Co, Florida. She was the daughter of Wm Moseley and Louisa Gatlin Baker Moseley. James Kilpatrick and two of their four children died in Lenoir Co (James d l834).
 
 
Hartsfield/Gray: Thomas Pinkney Hartsfield (bc 1808) and wife Lydia Gray - from Greene/Lenoir County
 
Wooten/Aldridge/Kornegay/Rhem: Peter Bond Wooten who died in Lenoir County, N. C., in ca 1826. His wife, born Esher/Esther Aldridge remarried to Issac Kornegay of Greene County, N. C. and they removed, along with her son, Peter Bond Wooten, Jr. and others, to Jefferson County, Fla. The names of "others" appear to have been Lafayette Wooten, Ida Wooten, John Z. Wooten, Hoke Wooten, Julia Wooten . One of the men married a Louise Rhem.
 
 
LEON COUNTY
CROOM - Hardy Bryan Croom and his family moved to the Tallahasee area. They were all lost at sea off Cape Hatteras on 9 October 1837

 

WASHINGTON COUNTY
 
BRIGHT/LOVICK - James Bright (d 1840) and Elizabeth Lovick moved to Washington County, Fla. from Lenoir County around 1822 or 1823. They lived on the east side of the Choctawhatchee River on a plantation known as Vallambrosa. Thomas Graves Bright and wife Ann and some of her relatives lived on what is now Walton County in the Euchee Valley on the west side of the Choctawhatchee. The families owned property in Pensacola.

UNKNOWN COUNTY

Barwick:
Wiley Barwick (1816-1905) moved from Lenoir County to North Central Florida around 1835 and had a large family and descendants that still live in the Central - Tampa area of Florida.
