- The said JONATHAN ROUSE Sr was seized of a tract of land lying
in the county of Lenoir on both sides of the main road leading
from Kinston to Waynesboro, nine miles distant from the former
place on Falling Creek adj the lands of JESSE WIGGINS, GEORGE
DAILY, JOHN C. WASHINGTON, WILLIAM GRAY, THOMAS HILL & others
containing 1100 acres and also of an undivided tract of land adj
the same held in common with JOHN C. WASHINGTON which the
petitioners are tenants in common and they are entitled upon a
portion of said land to one fifteenth as follows - 1/15 to QUINCY
ROUSE, SUSAN E. ROUSE, ELIZABETH ROUSE and JEFERSON ROUSE, jointly
representing their deceased father, RICHARD C. ROUSE; 1/15 to
THOMAS HILL & SARAH his wife; 1/15 to ALEXANDER HILL and
FINETTE his wife; 1/15 JOHN HILL, RICHARD HILL, PENELOPE HILL,
JONATHAN
