John and Stella are great favorites of this compiler. John spells his last name MEWBORNE - an e on the end of the name indicates a Republician and John was a Republician when no one else owned up to being one. One of the most interesting tidbits in this entire family is that the births of John, his father, and his grandfather took place in three different centuries. The odds of that happening is extremely small. No issue. There are numerous clippings for this family in the Collection of Ima Mewborn. 43. DR.
