Albert Smith and Ted Sampley discussing the cemetery vaults.

The Plot Thickens!

On Friday, October 27, 2000, Albert Smith shared the following with Ted Sampley:

. . . about 35-years ago while operating heavy equipment for a construction company, he dug into a vault in the clinic parking lot. He said it was "greenish" in color and wrapped in roots. He said construction was stopped immediately and that he covered up the vault. He says it is about three feet underground where you see us standing in the above picture. He said the retaining wall was built later by another contractor.

It is my opinion that we are dealing with three separate incidents. One when a hurricane uprooted tree exposing a crypt. Another, (the one Pat Faulkner remembers) when the first half of the parking lot was being built. And now, the one Mr. Smith dug while on the second half of the parking lot. Ted
